Just bought a 6 year old Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and I have never hooked up one with water and ice making capabilities. I'm sure it is not difficult if you know how....... but how is it done? The copper line seems to be 3/8 line at best and the water source would have 1/2 line. Any help would be appreciated as I cannot afford to hire a plumber to do it. Thanks

Hi!! tony , yes you have a bad water valve its located on the bottom back of your frig..Replace your water valve..Good luck..

As insignificant as it may seem, that evap fan motor is as important as petrol in a car. That fan controls the fridge cooling on many fridges and circulation in tha freezer compartment. Replace it with the correct one and you should see a functional fridge/ freezer again. Note, i wouldnt run unit without it for long, as condensig temperatures run high and compressors dont last long.

Hello there:- I presurme the water is leaking out underneath the drawer on the freezer compartment. Since there is no other prosibility where the water come from . So it must be the defrost water not running down the drain tube to the drain pan through the drain hole on the freezer side because it is blocked . Clean out this drain pan hole and the drain tube see you can sort out the problem. God bless .
