I'm listening to music with my phone next to me, and I hear that noise where you're about to recieve a call or text - but nothing comes up on my phone. My phone will not recieve texts, I thought I was being ignored but my friend said that she sent me 5 texts last night and I haven't got any of them.
Also, I've had to delete absolutely everything off my phone because it always comes up with 0.5kb needed or 1.5kb needed so I have to delete my sent items or something. If I turn my phone off and on again all my messages have gone. :') my main issue is that I'm not recieving texts right now so what can I do? I tried going onto 'reply via same message center' and putting 'no' but that didn't work. xx

Step 1
Power on* Make sure your cell is on this is a no brainer but
it needs to be on in order to send and recieve a text, so turn on that
cell phone.
Step 2
Menu* On my cell phone I go to the Menu in order to see my
text messages what ever option you have go to where you recieve or make a
text message. Also after I have gone to menu I see messaging hit that
option next.
Step 3
Settings* This is the next option that you will to in order
to add a signature to all of your outgoing text messages. Next go to all
messages here you will see several options, there should be a signature
option this is where you want to be in order to add the signature to
every text.
Step 4
Turn it on* Most phones will not have the option
on to add the signature this is something you must do on your own. For
my phone it only allows 15 characters than you can add whatever saying
you want. Mine says live&learn&luv. I try and live by this so I
thought it would be a great signature to have for my text messages.

I'm having the same problem. Try this, plug some headphones into your phone and then activate your music and while your music is playing unplug your headphones. It worked for me.
On every phone there are settings that can stop you sending texts. However all phones should still receive texts even if all the settings were changed. As the text message is directed to you mobile number you should still be receiving?
When you compose your text and select contact does the phone move them to the out/sent box?
Settings to check for sending are your 'message centre number' (your network provider can supply and they are normally different for pay monthly and pay & go) 'Message sent as' should be 'text' (not fax or email etc).
Text problems are common where people change or delete digits from the message centre number by mistake.
If you cannot receive texts i would recommend speaking to your provider for help as it may be your account details at their end? (beyond your control). Hope that helps?
check the message centre no. that must be available in the text message setting...
check it, if it persists then u have to reset your phone or check it to the service provider... they will solve it, if the problem belongs to them.
Check that your phone service allows that type of data. I had to apply seperately to recieve those kind of messages.
Also, your phone itself may not allow it either. I also had this problem with a previous phone I could recieve text but no fun music to go with that kissing lips... ;)
try to deal 112 if you hear something so theres nothing wrong about your ear piece. Try using its voice recorder to check if its mouth piece got a problem...
