This is a 2008 Frigidaire upright freezer (deluxe model) Model GLFH21F8Hw. the control panel will only read "0F" and will not turn on. How can I get it running?
I have a whirlpool upright freezer model ev190nxsn01 it keeps popping the breaker. i disconnect the timmer the comp runs, ichanged the timmer, still pops breaker, i disconnected evap fan still pops breaber. please help if possible thanks for your help.
Sounds like the sensor circuit may be open. Here is the problem, either it has a board that's bad or the sensor is out. Ohm the sensor circuit and record the temp the box is at in refrigerator and freezer. then the ohm reading. Contact manufacturer or representative of manufacturer, and ask what the sensor should read at the temps you have.
Generally if you get a reading on the sensor circut the sensor is ok, and the board is out BUT not always. this is why you need the temperature and the ohm readings. Sometimes the wire diagram has a legend with these reading on it. Look all around the underneath and behind sections for an envelope containing the wire diagram.
Good Morning Stephanie Garcia, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire freezer is displaying an error code of "OF". Typically, an "OF" stands for power off, you should be able to press the up arrow three times in a row within five seconds to turn your freezer back on. If that does not help correct your issue you may want to perform a reset and you can do that by unplugging the power cord for roughly ten minutes. I hope this helps. -Matt
Hey friend, thanks for your post!
From my understanding you have recently moved your Frigidaire freezer and it is now displaying the "OF". Normally, that stands for off you should be able to press the "Up" or "Down" arrow three times within five seconds to start your compressor. If you still need a copy of your manual could you provide me with your model number? You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside wall of your freezer. I hope this has been helpful. -Matt
