Nortel T7316E need to reset all the password

I am new to this office, the previous person who used to use this phone have just left without leaving anything. I need help please.... My telephone is Nortel T7316E I have to reset all the password
My telephone that has three (3) softkeys under the LCD Window Display. 
I try to reset the mailbox password 1. I hit the FEATURE 985 (display shows "VM:751" OK)  2. I press Feature 983, display will shows "log:" then "QUIT  RETRY  OK" underneath the "log:" 3. I enter 1020000 (3digit extention) 4. press OK 5. "Pswrd:" "RETRY OK" shows in the display 6. there is no "SELECT" at all
could someone help me please..... I dont dont know the mailbox password, log password, and admin password. im so confused and desperate here. please help

    Feature 983 then enter 738662 as log and 266344 as password. then mlbox and enter mailbox number and then change and reset under password...password reset will be 0000 then exit and go to mailbox

How to Change a Mailbox Password 1. To access the voice mail system press Feature.
2. Press 9 8 3.
3. When you see Log: enter ~ SETNNA (738662) and press OK
4. Pswd: CONFIG (266344)
5. Press "MBOX".
6. Press "CHNG".
7. Enter the mailbox number you wish to reset.
8. Press "Reset".
9. Press "Rls" to exit (orange button to the right of the number buttons).
Default password is "0000".

    After you change the password; and get back into the mailbox, press 8 to make changes to the: user name, password, greeting.

Feature 983 log in is 120000 (if 2 digit extension, 1020000 if 3 digit, 10020000 if 4 digit extensions)
Select Mbox, enter that locked extensions mail box number, You will see password RESET. Select RESET. Release out. This will reset that mail box password to 0000. Use feature 981 on that phone and enter the new default password of 0000. you will then be prompted to change the password.

Feature 985 will show you your mailbox extension

MANY TIME A PERSON DIALS WITHOUT REALIZING THAT THE ACCEPTANCE CODE NEEDS TO BE INSERTED FIRST THE Nortel T7316E?...If you want to temporarily turn them off use do not disturb (feature 85, feature #85 to turn Do Not Distrub off) Turning off the ringing permanently will require you to program the set. Why wont red Message light on my Nortel Phone
more than likely someone in your office left the message rather than the voice mail. to clear it press the call soft key below the screen. the screen should display who left the message with two of the soft keys labeled call and erase. press the erase soft key. it's possible the the person/s that left the message left multiple messages. in that case repeat the procedure til all messages are canceled

How to get voicemail from another phone nortel 7316e I am trying to get my office messaged from my cell.
If your trying to get your messages from another nortel set in the office press your open voicemail button or feature 981. The left soft key below the screen should say OTHR. press the soft key the screen should change to LOG: enter in the mailbox number followed by the password and #.
If your trying to get your messages remotely, call into the office and when the auto attendant answers, press ** followed by your mailbox number password and #.

I NEED HELP RESETTING VM PASSWORD
Are you trying to enter the VM system by using FEATURE983?

When you have 3 digit extensions, you need to use 102 like you have tried. The password part of the login is the 0000. Someone must have changed it from the default 0000 to something else. Try 102**** where the **** is some other common password that you might use such as 1111, 2222, 1234 or others like that.

1020000 no longer works
it's really simple.
enter Feature 985 then 9 and spell out RESETSMPSWD (73738767793) and then YES. That's it. it should go back to the original one. if your extension are 3 digits should be 1020000 and so on.

Nortel T7316e need to change extention # on phone
You can go to any T7316e phone and do this , press feature 983 when you see log on the screen enter 102 0000 to log on with or 12 0000 this is the default admin password for the voice mail system . it depends if you have a 3digit extension of 2 digit . when you get in you will see three options on the screen above the three buttons , from left to right it will be mbox aa and other press the mbox button then it will give you three more options again from left to right they will be add delete and change press change , it will ask for the extension number , enter the number of your extension . the thing it will ask you is if you want to reset the password , press yes and the press the the red rels button your password is now reset to 0000 . good luck .

press Grtg
press Grtg again
press 1 then ok.
Greeting 1 is usually for day and 2 is usually for night depending on the tech who set it up.
