The picture has a pink and reddish hue

I need to know how to reinitialize the memory to eliminate this problem for my 50V500 50 inch TV. We have had several repair men come to our house and within 5 minutes the TV is working fine. What are they keying in on the remote to adjust the picture hue?

My 50V500 started producing the red/pinkish hue months ago no matter what settings I use on the TV. My kids mainly use ot for PS2 so it hasn't bothered me. I have started watching football more on it and no wit's driving me nuts

I bought a new vivitar vivicam t324n digital camera. I used an SD card that I had previously used in my old vivitar vivicam3935. All the pictures have a reddish hue. When I called vivitar the 1st time they...

There is a function in your camera setup menu to format memory cards. It won't make any difference to the reddish hue of the pictures, but it will delete everything on the card.

No, you can use any SD card, and in fact you are using the card you have. Your camera can take and display pictures, so it is using already. These cards are digital- they either work or they don't. You might get a corrupted picture file but a memory fault wouldn't just add a hue to all shots like a film might.

It won't hurt to get a new card and try it- then you can tell them that you did what they said and it didn't help. The card will be of use as a spare or to hold more shots on holiday. At some point you need to return this camera as it seems to have a fault, but it sounds like they are trying to blame the old card instead of giving you a replacement or repair.

Sony KP-53HS30 Projection TV has pink and blue hue w/timer blink

Depending on your TV, you may have a Color Temperature (Color Temp) and/or Hue setting in the menu. Use these options to adjust the picture to the setting that best suits your viewing preference.
If your TV has a Color Temp setting, you will normally have the following options to select from:
  • Cool: Gives the picture a cooler, slightly bluish appearance.
  • Neutral: Gives the picture a neutral, more natural look and appearance.
  • Warm: Gives the picture a warmer, slightly reddish appearance.
If your TV has a Hue setting, follow the appropriate step below to make adjustments:
  1. Move the setting to the right to reduce the reddish appearance.
  2. Move the setting to the left to reduce the greenish appearance.

Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-24FS120 24" TV Color changes

Try turning down (off) the color during such an episode. If the image is tinted pink or green instead of black and white when you do this, you have either an intermittent short in your CRT (tube), which is terminal,or a gun drive problem, which may be repairable. If you're feeding it component instead of composite signal,it may just be a bad connection of the B-Y cable.
