It shots off suddenly and a blue screen with white letter comes up

Gilbert,the blue screen with white letters are named blue screen
of death. (BSOD) it happends with incompatible software and hardware.

The Blue CRT drive board is most likely whats wrong. You can get replacement drive boards from www.tvrepairworld.com

The white balance is set to something other than "auto WB".

Sounds like you're stuck in number lock.
Press Fn and F11 at the same time. That's function and F11.
I'm pretty sure that'll do the trick, as long as the blue portion of the F11 key reads "NmLk" or something like that.
If this doesn't work, let me know and we'll try something else.

Place the red line actualy the reds fine cause the blue is behind it but the bla k could maybe use some stars in it ya know my ninjas and maybe fade with the colors just to keep addin to it bits at a time but yeah post me a solution lol

Your camera symptoms shows problem of defective CCD imager and needs to be replaced that part.
Sony announced a scheme for free of cost ccd imager replacement for such models. Please check details at Sony Support web site.

Youre convergence Ics need to be replaced. post the model number of your set and I will post the STK number that you need and a link where you can get new replacement ICs

This is a problem that occurs often in all of the Sony Cybershot cameras. To fix this problem, hit the "Sony" logo on the front of the camera with one of your knuckles. I know it sounds abusive, but it works everytime! and with every Sony camera:)

I also have the same problem! I absolutely love this camera but suddenly out of the blue I have stripy lines on the screen that look like you are looking through a venetian blind. I have contacted Fuji but they say it will cost £99 to repair or have offered £50 discount on any other camera. I just want my F460 working ok. Please, please can anyone help us?
