Our office is in need of a new washing machine and we are considering the Kenmore 800 4.0 cu.ft. capacity top-load washer. We do large amounts of towels and need a washer than can accomodate them. Is the Kenmore the best way to go?
NO!
It agitates as it fills, so dirt gets locked into creases and never does unwind is so little water. My clothes come out dirty, if I don't stand there opening and closing the door to fill it and dissolve the detergent before I put in clothes.
Also, after only 3 years, it has stopped working on most cycles.
For large capacity, a front loader would be your best bet. An HE2 by Kenmore should be sufficient. If a toploader is overloaded, it's more likely to do damage. Also a Whirlpool Duet would work. Whirlpool makes Kenmore, so shop for the best price, (they are the same inside)

Don't do it. This washer has gotten horrible reviews. It is the worst washer I have ever owned. Major problems with the water levels etc etc etc
