If you just run blank sheet through the printer using the printer feed button it should remove any ink on a roller. which probably got there from printing off a picture.

Dark streak on paper

you need to clean the rollers. consult the manual about cleaning the copier. if you don't have a manual, then get some methyl alcohol (any alcohol that evaporates completely will do). use a lint free cloth to rub a small amount of alcohol on all roller surfaces (accessible via pull-down compartments on front and back, usually).

Black marks on pages when i print

Do the streaks get fainter as you print more pages?

It sounds to me like have toner on your rollers/fuser.

Print out 10 prints from the printer and see if it improves.

If you remove the fuser wiper cover from the top of the printer and look down you will see part of the fuser roller (DON'T TOUCH VERY HOT) and check if there is toner on it.

I have a Lexmark E250DN printer. The photoconductor kit was full of excess toner. It was easy enough to unscrew the holding tank and to clean out the old toner. Everything seems to work fine now except for...

Probably you need to purchase new one - Lexmark E250X22G photoconductor. Every 60000 prints you need to change it or
If it is OPC drum (green roller) damaged.

I have a Lexmark C534dn color printer. I recently replaced all of the toner cartridges. Each time I print, the pages come out with black verticle streaks and splotches going down both sides of the paper....

On laser printers, this can be caused by the charge roller or the print head. I would first look at cleaning thoroughly the charge roller (this is the roller that goes in to the Toner cartridge when you close the lid.
Use soapy water and let dry COMPLETELY before reinstalling. Or just replace it (better choice really)
This can also be caused by the print head and the fuser. so if the charge roller doesn't fix the problem, start looking there

I'm getting black streaks down the left side of the paper. There is plenty of toner left in the cartridge. We've vacuumed out the printer, cleaned the drum - nothing helps.

black streaks the toner cartridge is leaking from the left side which is easy to check pull the tone and look at the gears on the left side to see if toner is present. if these gears have toner on them the cartridge is leaking replace it. check the fuser for wear marks on the hot roller which is the top roller when these get worn through the outer coating they will create black streaks

Vertical streaks when printing pictures

vertical lines on prints usually means either the drum's cleaning blade is not cleaning the drum (or the drum is damaged) or the fuser is scored. scored means that the protective coating on the fuser rollers is damaged. I would check the rollers on the fuser (the hot part of the printer right near the paper exit) for any lines on it, if you look at your prints, you should see them in the same location on the fuser. if you do not see any lines on the fuser rollers, then replace the drum.

Prints roller smear marks

Laser printers do not use Ink. The problem is most likely a defect on the drum, which in this model printer, is part of the toner cartridge. Replace the black toner cartridge with a known good one and test.
