My Jura Capresso C1300 reads Need Hot Water Cycle

My Jura Capresso C1300 digiial readout keeps reading "needs hot water cycle". It produces hot water from the steamer/water nosel, grinds normally, and I can see the coffee trying to come up through the small clear hose to the coffee spout when I have the machine case off but only a few drops are able to make it out. It has a puff of steam that comes out of the bottom of the press from somewhere that I can't see. I have tried removing and cleaning the visable hoses and running it witout the claris filter as well as checking for any cloging in and under the water tank and valve. It appears that the problem is where the coffee and water mix to be pumped out. The puff of steam coming from the bottom of press where I can't see puzzles me. This is a great coffee maker and I have owned it for a couple of years and have taken good care of it. My Husband is pretty handy and may be able to fix it with a schematic or service manual. Please help!

Well, completely removed every mechanical piece from the coffee maker, (including hoses) cleaned and put back together. The pump does not work through the coffee nosel but does through the steam / water nosel, so the pump works. when turned on coffee, read-out still states "needs hot water cycle", so i've run numerous hot water cycles. No clog, It just won't cycle or pump the hot water through the coffee nosel. The problem appears to be with the electronics. Anyone with schematics on this Jura Capresso C1300 Please?

Jura Impressa X90 doesn't give water or coffee. Keeps saying: fill system

Hello, make sure the magnet in the water tank moves freely, sometimes it gets stuck with deposits, its a small black rectangle near the base. if its not free, you need to put some descaling solution it the tank to clear it.

My capresso coffeeTeamGS maker will grind the coffee but will not brew it????

Hi. Your brew unit is by passing the water that is supose to brew. You'll have to clean the brew unit. Jura brewunits are not easly removeable, + you can't buy parts unless your a authorised repairer. Try doing a manual descale cycle. You need to add descale solution to the watertank and operate the hot water and steam functions, which allows the solution to enter the system. Open these functions until water and steam are pumping through, then switch them off and let it sit for a few minutes, then repeat the above 5 or 6 times. This allows the solution to break up any build up. OK, now you have manualy descaled the steam and hot water circuits. Now allow the machine to try and make coffees." we are only trying to clean the machine, so dont drink the coffee." Try 5 or 6 times to see if this is starting to brew better. WE DO NOT LEAVE THE DESCALE SOLUTION IN THE MACHINE. We need to flush the system with fresh water as per above. Descale is corrosive, so we need to get it all out. I hope this has worked for you, other wise you'll have to take it to an authorised repairer. Dazza REPAIRER

Jura c9 on out of box start up won't leave rinse cycle and enter heating mode. Checked rotary dial but it seems fine.

You need to be patient and keep pressing the rinse button. I took a few water tanks of rinsing before it clicked over to heating mode. The manual and DVD need to mention this!

I have a jura capresso S7. I am finding water in

This is normal, after each cycle the brew unit will empty the drainvalve for excess water, this will ensure that the water used for each new cup is fresh from the watertank.

Jura Capresso C3000 keeps saying clean unit

We have the S8 here at our office. Ran the cleaning cycle and "Clean Now" message was still on and beeping afterwards. Read the Feb 28 comment and carefully cleaned everything that had grounds stuck to it. Ran the cycle again and it worked. Thanks all.

Capresso C1300 LCD stays on stating "Hot water cycle necessary"

I had one that set for 6 months that had that problem. Air had gotten into the water lines. Opened the hot water tap a few times and then removed the end of the water line that runs from the solenoid to heater block to at the solenoid end to bleed air out. It could also have been some calcium deposits that blew out with the air blocking the line. Then I replaced the end of the line, powered the machine up and it worked normally. Note: Jura Capresso and Capresso machines are complicated and it takes some mechanical know how to open them up and service them. They also have four special screws on the back that requires a special tool to open

Capresso c1300

I believe you have to go through the steps of running a hot water cycle which is on page 9 of the owners manual, 7.1 listed under "FIRST TIME PREPARATION" A. through F. If you don't have the manual, send me your e-mail and I can send it to you.
