Disney princess tv shut off and won't turn back on. is there a rest on it.

Hi,

Sorry, there is not a reset on this TV.
No signs of life can be anything from a Fuse, to failed components on the power supply.
I suggest having it to a local repair shop which has the training and proper equipment to disassemble the TV and replace the failed component(s).
Expect a diagnostic fee of $40 (depending on your location) that is credited toward the repair bill.

Thanks

No power

I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV needs repair. The problem is there are no longer parts available to repair Disney TVs. The company that manufactured that model is no longer in business. No other company has come along to pick up where they left off, so unfortunately there is no way to repair a defective Disney TV.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. The problem is the company that manufactured that TV (it wasn't Disney corporation) went out of business over a year ago. Consequently there are no parts available for anyone to repair the products they manufactured.

Disney mcqueen tv DTP1363-CAR

yes it can be repaired for sure .it will cost you near to between  $10 to $ 150 plus the service charge of the technician. as sometimews this causes due to very minute short circuit and a small ic or capacitors gets blown and the cost for that 1 single capacitor is very negligible so it can be $10 also. thanks.

Disney Cars TV-Model DTD1363-CAR 13" TV/DVD

I have 1 , exact same problem. I took it to a local repair shop and it turned out to be loose connections on the circuit board. It was explained to me that as the problem became more frequent it was the connections getting worse. It cost about $100 (give or take).
