Performance teknique icbm-782 amplifier will not power on

I got a new headunit in my truck and i installed it and everything works fine but my amplifier will not power on i checked the wires and all of them get power until they get to the amp. i think it might be a fuse in the amp but im not sure. i love my sound system please help!!!

Run 12 volt into your rem terminal and see if it comes on if it does your remote wire coming from the headunit is bad or cut

Disconnect tha speakers to the amp and power off amp see if light returns to normal operation. If so could have a shorted voice coil or a speaker wire that is being grounded to the chassis of the vechicle.

Blow out amp
try a basic connection connect

positive from car to positive of amp

ground to ground

and positive of car to remote of amp

see if it turns on

also check the fuses in the car
check for voltage on the wires

I got a performance teknique power amp its 1700 rms at 1 ohm i need 1500 rms at a load of .67 will be ok
No, with 1700watts at 1 ohm the max current is 41 amperes, with 1500 at 0.67 the currents is almost 48 ampreres, you will be overdriving the amp at signal peaks.
