Pop-ups are web pages that automatically open when clicking on a weblink; they may or may not be related to the site you are attempting to view.
Most often pop-ups are unwanted advertisements and other forms of spam, which is the reason pop-up blockers exist: to keep unwanted images and sites from interfering with normal Internet browsing.
Sometimes pop-up blockers will block sites and pages that you may want to view, in which case you may want to disable your pop-up blocker.

Create the Menu tab.
Right click in the top section on your homepage select the Menu option this will add File Edit View Tools and Help to the top of your homepage
Click the Tools menu.
Scroll down to "Pop-up blocker."

Select, "Turn off popup blocker."
Disable Pop-up Blocking in Firefox
Select the Tools, menu and click "Options."
Click the Content tab.
Uncheck the box labeled "Block pop-up windows," then click "OK."
Disable Stand Alone Pop-up Blockers
Press "Control," "Alt" and "Delete" simultaneously to bring up the Task Manager.
Find your pop-up blocker program and highlight it, under the Processes tab.
Select "End process."

I cannot access my internet banking because of pop up blocker

Your pop-up blocker is a function of your browser settings. Go into the settings menu and either disable the pop-up blocker or make an exception for the site you want to use. Depending on your browser you can select the level of protection that your pop-up blocker gives you so that it will actually allow pop-ups for stuff you actually click on to pop up.
