Most digital cameras has an energy saving feature where it will power down if the camera is not used in a certain period of time. This interval can be set in the cameras settings.
Sanyo VPC-E1075 comes with 90 day warranty. Teenager at walmart told me 1 year also. That is why I bought it. 3 year extended warranty is $22-$24 (walmart.com website only. In store only 2 year available).
