SOURCE: Blade comes out while sawing

I have used the same tool. Make sure that the blade release/ hold tab is engaged. Maybe the return spring is fouled or stuck. Try some lubricant.

Blade catch wears out too fast
I loved this tool when it was working but after not that much use the teeth that hold the blade under pressure no longer hold hard enough to prevent the blade from coming out. The mechanism that holds the blade has no catch hole, it uses a few serated teeth to pressure hold the blade in place. Unfortunately, once the pressure starts to lessen you can't tighten it down...

When I try to install the blade by pushing down and turning the top leaver clockwise, nothing happens. I appears that the leaver is not turning the nut under it. I can't get to the nut to turn it.

there is a very small spring under the mechanism that might have broken. To remove/install the blade you need to lift up on the lever to engage the nut to tighten the spindle until snug and then push the lever down.

Borrowed this model.. Need to change blade. Can't figure out how. Please advise. Thx.

this is a keyless change system and there is a lever on the side that you need to lift to remove/install blades. This tool uses the "t" shank blades. If you still need assistance go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the site at the bottom type in the model number and you can view this manual online or download it, It is 7 pages long. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Blade keeps falling out. What am I doing wrong?

ive had this problem many times, first make sure you have the right blade, then you need to make sure you are seating it correctly, and tightening correctly.
