Check Water Supply display lights up

Hi I own a Bosch SGS45C02G Full DW which is 11 months old. I now have a problem where the "Check water supply" display lights up when I turn the dishwasher on. This first appreared when there was 49 minutes left. I have taking all the pipes apart to ensure there is no blockage & happy with that. Also check there were no kinks. The washing works & the dishwasher is connected to the same water supply, so I assume no issues there. Is there anything else I should check? Appreciate your help Kind Regards Gerry

It sounds like there is a filter or screen on the water inlet that is partially clogged, check for that.

SOURCE: water not pumped out of dishwasher

To cut a long story short, lower the drain pipe as close to the floor as you can. Some dish washers have a non return rubber which holds the water in the cabinet until asked to drain.Meaning water wont just flow out with pipe being low.(Im assuming the drain pump is operating correctly).Check if this alteration makes any difference.

I solved the problem, by tipping the dishwasher back about 45degrees, I think this re-adjusted the flood sensor, and it is now working fine. Thank you

Bosch Avantixx6 VarioPerfect problems

If your Bosch Avantixx6 VarioPerfect washing machine is beeping and the light is cycling through the spin cycles without any other noise or action, it could indicate a potential issue with the machine. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check for error codes: Some Bosch washing machines display error codes on the control panel when a problem occurs. Look for any error codes or error messages that may be displayed. Refer to your washing machine's manual or the manufacturer's website to understand what the specific error code means and how to address it.
  2. Check the door/lid: Ensure that the door or lid of the washing machine is securely closed. If the door is not closed properly, the machine may not start or may display an error. Open the door and close it firmly, making sure it latches properly.
  3. Check water supply: Ensure that the water supply to the washing machine is turned on and there is an adequate water supply. If the machine doesn't detect sufficient water, it may not start or may display an error. Check the water inlet hoses and the water supply valves to ensure they are properly connected and not blocked or kinked.
  4. Power cycle the machine: Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This power cycle may help reset any temporary glitches or errors in the machine.
  5. Contact customer support: If the issue persists and you are unable to identify the cause or resolve it on your own, it's recommended to contact Bosch customer support or a qualified appliance repair technician.

Thanks Jon

Miele G 646 SC, Leaking.? My Miele G646SC is leaking, the red inlet/drain light is on and I suspect it may be one of the pump seals has perished. The machine is 11 yrs old and has never had a problem of...

The dishwasher must be removed from the counter so you can gain access to the pump. I would check with a parts supply company first to see if the pump is still available, and the cost. It may be too expensive to repair a dishwasher that old.
Removing the dishwasher is not very hard. Turn off the electrical breaker. detach the DW from the counter. Pull out. disconnect the water supply and drain. disconnect power supply if required.

Bosch she43f15uc just stopped pumping water. Any ideas? it is only 18 months old.

My Bosch dishwasher had the same problem. After checking the over flow pan I removed the inlet hose to check water flow. There was none. I checked my cut off valve...open...I had water at the kitchen facet...scratch my head...I looked closer at the Bosch supplied braided water hose. It is directional (label indicating which end to hook to supply)....closer inspection reveals maybe there is a back flow valve in that side of the braided hose. Disconnect, blow air through...air passes freely...reconnect and bingo water flow at the dishwasher. In line back flow valve...can you imagine what a repair man would have charged for that?

I have a 250SX aquastar Bosch tankless hot water heater . It keeps going out on EC code; whats wrong? Also I've been running the unit for about a 9 months without hooking up the condensate dain line.

The 250 MUST have the condensate line connected. EC comes from gas supply problems and CO2 levels not being adjusted. LP units require 3/4" smooth gas pipe or 1" corrugated pipe minimum size. The LP regulator needs to be turned up to about 13 inches of water column and with all the gas appliances on, measure no less than 11 inches of water column. The CO2 levels must be measured by a qualified gas technician with a calibrated (with in 6 months) CO2 analyzer.

Housekeeper put dish washing soap in - machine is full of bubbles. How do I clean it out without flooding the kitchen?

Turn off the hot water supply to the DW. Take a pot or pan. Fill the DW tub with COLD water, pump it out. Repeat this COLD water and pump out several times until the suds are gone. HOT water only makes the suds worse and prevents the pump from expelling the water.

Bosch SHX46A (6 years old) Selected regular cycle, pressed On and closed door. Cycle did not start normally. Pump runs, but no water is coming into the DW. I confirmed the water supply line is turned on....

From your description, I doubt that the problem is door latch is the cause.
The first thing that a modern dishwasher does before it begins to fill with water is run the drain pump.  It appears that this DW is not progressing to the next cycle (inlet water) and because the pump runs even when the door is open, I agree that the controller card may have failed.
If possible, inspect all the wire connections (remove main power before you do this) ... if there is a loose connection, the controller could do odd things.
Good Luck!  Please report back what you find, OK?

Hi, it sounds like there is no watewr supply to the machine. Try turning the valve closed, and then opening it again. If that doesn't work, turn off the water and disconnect the supply hose. Then, with a bucket handy, turn the water back on slightly to see if water is coming through the end of the hose to the machine. Also check the gauze inlet filter for blockage with grit.
Let me know how you get on before rating the solution!
Thanks, D.
