Hi, I have problem here. I just bought Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C. It works fine at first, but one day latter some clicking noise appear. It detected in BIOS, but then make my Windows take a very long time...

The short answer is the drive is having trouble calibrating itself, and should be sent back under warranty for replacement.
There are things you could try to recover the unit, but why risk voiding the warranty only to wind up with a questionable drive afterward?

I have a Deskstar 80GB hard drive and I am adding another drive to the computer. How do I set the Deskstar to the Master. I'm not sure what the pin settings should be?

If you have the EIDE cables on your PC, it is easy. Your drives need to have their jumpers in the CBL SEL (cable select) positions (identified on the case on the sticker) and then you simply connect your Deskstar to the Master connector, and your other drive to the Slave connector.

I have a Hitachi DeskStar T7K250 - hard drive - 160 GB - ATA-133 and a masscool UHB 330U 3.5 IDE to USB case for it, however windows will only stop at ''searching for preconfigured driver folders.'' Help...

This is typically a corrupt mass storage driver in windows. You can try removing C:\windows\driver cache (may be c:\windows\system32\drivercache too.

Then reboot; and see how it works. This resolves most of of the issues. http://techrxgb.com (please join us on facebook for hints / tips and tricks)
