First confirm if the printer is recognized by your system, and check the printing history to see if there is a queue. If there is, delete them and restart your system. This time, make sure it\'s recognized, then resend your instruction to print.
false error message / could be due to the dirty rollers or bac=d sensors on the printer. Sometime when printer does not get enough power it might give this erropr message .
Hence also try to change the power source.
It's a possible hardware issue in the feeding mechanism. Try to remove the cartridges from the printer then close the cover. Remove the sheets of paper. Unplug the printer from the power source. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back the printer to the power source. When the printer's ready, reload the cartridges. Load some paper but don't overload as this may send wrong information to the printer. Have the paper guides lightly touch the sides of the paper, thus avoiding shifting of paper when it feeds. Let it print an alignment page and do some test prints from computer. If problem persists, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. Thanks.
Try cleaning the paper rollers with alcol to remove impregnated ink which causes the roillers to become shiny. It is failure to grip the paper that usually causes this. use a plastic pot scourer to gently roughen the platten roller to allow it to grip better.
hello everyone...its just a simple problem....dun worry...1st, u hve to connect ur printer to other computer(not the same pc as u're using now)...then the printer will work fine...after tht..connect ur cable back to the previous computer(1st computer)...then ur printer will be fined!!!!!!!!!!! :) -darkrogue
This printer is very finicky about paper loading. I see this error most commonly when using auto-cut roll paper. If the paper edge is not cut perfectly straight, and it is not inserted into the printer perfectly strait, it will give you an error. When it does this, you can simply load the paper and press "cut" instead of "pause" when it says "press pause" and it will cut the paper straight. You can also set it to "Roll Paper Manual Cut" and load the paper, then set it back to "Roll Paper Auto Cut."
Hi,I would suggest you to first trying unplugging/ switching off your device for 5 minutes. This restores and refreshes the device. Go for it Let me know if this works, if it doesn’t then I’ll provide some other alternative solution. Thanks
I've found myself!
