This code means the camshaft and crankshaft are not synchronized. In general, in old terms, the timing mark on the camshaft and the timing mark on the crank are not lined up. This means the valves are in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Simply enough what Kodak won't tell you is that this can be resolved for the cost of a couple Q-Tips and a bottle of rubbing alcohol, or, a new battery. Let go with number one first. Take a Q-Tip and "dampen" it not soak it in some rubbing alcohol. Remove the battery and clean inside the compartment well paying most attention to the contacts, taking care not to snag the small battery eject spring. Do the same to the battery contacts and the charging station. If this works you're all set. If not you need a new battery. One quick way to tell is look at the little rectangular window next to the battery contacts, if it is pink it's time to replace it. Good luck, Dana
If you've dropped the camera you may have damaged the lens housing - which will require professional repair, but the problem you describe is frequently due to
corroded battery contacts inside the camera. Remove the batteries and
wipe the camera contacts firmly with a clean cloth (heavy corrosion may
require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine
sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery
compartment during cleaning, clean the contacts at both ends of the
batteries, and reinsert them in the camera. This cleaning cures the
problem about 90% of the time, and I hope it works for you.
You could call this number to see if you can get a remote control for it. (905) 479-4411
PIONEER ELECTRONICS OF CANADA, INC. 300 Allstate Parkway, Markham, Ontario L3R OP2, Canada TEL: (905) 479-4411
Otherwise, you could buy a universal remote control, they're really cheap, and google 'universal remote codes' and you'll find lists of numbers that you input into the u.r.control, listed by brand, so just look for the Pioneer ones under 'Receivers'.
The grinder parts have to be in place and the lid closed or it will not work. The plastic cover to the grinder twists to the left which engages a small switch. Hope this helps!
