Follow these steps (per Samsung Support) to reset cartirdge error:
Press Menu, #, 1934
Screen will read: Ready, Tech Mode
Press Menu until you see Data Setup
Arrow through till you see New Cartridge, enter yes and hit OK or enter
Now re-enter Menu, #, 1934 to get back to Regular Mode
Toner Empty message should be gone!

CORRECT SOLUTIONS
Are you sure it is a genuine toner cartridge? Remanufactured or recycled cartridges not always work as offered. If it is new and original, take it to the store for a replacement. These toners use a chip that validates with the unit, so there is no reset.

i've a printer Samsung scx-4521f, which had a formatter board problem but solved and its on now. but problem currently which iam facing is that when i turn on my printer, it initializes but front panel doesent work.. it seems like hanged up, only menu, left or right buttons works and prompt for date and time... its not saving it too. when menu button is pressed it says " out of range" ..
is thr any solution for this problem.
looking forward for best ans..

Call SAMSUNG technical support. They will walk you through codes to ener which will reset the machine's copy count. I had the same problem and it worked for me!

I also have a scx 4521f and i get a msg saying toner empty every time i print, with a loud annoying beeping sound. i have replaced the toner and it prints fine, just keeps telling me its empty, what should i do?

I bought it (the original) in a authorised shop and they repleced it. When I tried the ''new one'' again when I came back home it was the same!!! I'm really upset about it! I have no idea what to do anymore....
even after replacing a toner, the message reads, Ready Memory received and toner empty
the screen says that the toner is empty but not which of the four. can I tell how much each toner has left
