I own a independent watch (no name) I recieve as a gift. The only hint is on the face.is "TRUE TIME" and "Talking Watch". I enjoy tinkering with technology and so enjoy the watch. However it always says "USA time not updated", though the time is fine. So I found instruction. This site is concise and so might help others as well:
