What kind of internet connection do you have?

Modem/adapter, bitrate, and the connection the game requires to play?

Lag is in most online game's , to combat this you need a few thing's 1) good processor chip, 2) lots of memory 3) good service provider (up the meg rate if poss for online gaming 8meg minimum is good , , In game turn down any unwanted graphic's to low setting to run smoother.

Videl and game lag

Hi. After looking at the specs of your tower, the Celeron cpu you have runs at a slow 533 MHz FSB speed and is a single core processor. The good news is that your motherboard is designed to handle an intel Pentium D Dual Core CPU 900 series. Your motherboard uses a type Socket T plug (CPU Plug type). The processors name is The Pentium D 920. Have Fun.

Game system lag

If the lag is with the online communites for each respective consol, and it's happeneing at the same time, it's probably your internet connection. It could be their networks as well, but most likely yours.

We start playing the game on line it freezes and it also says the lobby is closed

Which game? some games give the host the ability to "kick" some players from the lobby. Some use this as a way to gain advantage during the game if they are losing. You also may be experiencing lag or internet connectivity issues.

Gh world tour mic has terrible lag

Yes, unfortunately, USB ports just aren't fast enough for live vocals. Some stereo setups have longer lag times than others, as well. A couple of ms is very noticeable. Have you tried adjusting the settings on the game? Go to "Options" on the Home Screen and select "Calibrate Lag." Here you can delay either your Audio or your Video in 1 ms increments to try to adjust for lag times. You may find a happy medium after adjusting these settings.

Nba live08 lagging on-line

Try starting a game with people you know locally, if your ping between users is too high it will be perceived as lag. when the server catches up with you, your system misses the refresh cycle with the other players and it disconnects you. a more responsive internet helps. Also if you are at a NAT3 connection it can cause problems. check your internet settings and see what it says, there are many online guides to setting to a lower NAT.

Hope this helps.

"Lag" during play

Have you tried playing the game with the controller connected to the PS3 via the USB cable? Also, just as a test, DISABLE the Internet connection option on the PS3's menu to see if it makes any difference. I found that for some reason some titles (namely Enchanted Arms) have been know to act erratically with an active Internet connection whilst playing.
