Yesterday my 37 inch LCD TV Olevia 237-T11 stopped working. When I try to turn it on it powers only for a second and then powers back off. What might be the issue and how could I test what went wrong with it?

My olevia 237-t11 turns off by its self and sometimes makes a loud screcheen noise

Sounds like either the main or display power supply is failing. Might consider a new TV. Parts could be found but it might be hard to find them.

TV light wont turn on or TV won't turn on

Check and replace damaged component/s at it main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis.

Tv won't come on

Same thing Just happened to me ths AM. Acting Wierd then this morning fuzzy screen and poof won't come back on.

Comcast box was resetting at the exact same time and I found this online....

The problem is a power supply failure possibly related to capacitors. You can take it apart and check for parts that look like small soda cans that may be bulging or leaking.

your on a safe mode energy saver they built then tvs like that for storm and lighting storms ok only push power button one then wait 15 min. then tv should come on.
