06 Kawasaki brute force 750i misses if the gas is pressed rapidly

It doesnt matter if Im moving or at a stand still if you slam on the throttle it will spit and sputter and try to stall. Ive replaced the air filter and spark plugs and it still does it, Ive been told that its because this year is carberated. However ive seen some the same year that doesnt have this problem, so what do you think?

Could be dirt in a fuel jet in the carb. You cap purchase a fuel cleaner to put in the gas tank and if that does not work the carb will have to be cleaned.

Just had same problem. Take carbs off and clean all jets and bowl. Be carful front and rear carb have different sized jets. When you put quad back together put entire airbox together even the cover. This quad will backfire unless air box is complete. I bet you anything your carb is full of trash.

SOURCE: "06" Brute Force 750 back firing thru the carburators

Sounds like you may have to do a complete carburetor cleaning. Also, after this is done, be sure to put the breather box back and that includes the box cover. That bike is not worth a fiddlers, ..... without that cover put back on it. If the carburetor cleaning is not done properly then you'll still have the problem. Also, be careful when taking the carbs apart, they have different size jets in them and don't move anything in regards to linkages. Those carbs are also syncronized.

If that don't do it, then maybe, you'll need your valve clearances adjusted.

Good luck

SOURCE: I have a 750 08

This ATV has a fuel injection system. Since the injection system doesn't have a choke to enrich the fuel mixture when the engine is cold , the fuel flow thru the injectors is increased. The measure in which the fuel flow is increased is determined by an coolant temperature sensor - in your case this sensor is either disconnected or it has failed.
The sensor is in the bottom left side of the radiator - it screws in there.
