Okay I am not a genius on this. Please help. When I attach my USB to my peavey 3000 it says no playable file. What am I doing wrong? I downloaded from iTunes and put on my flashdrive then inserted.

It sounds like the power supply is overheating, or an interconnect is becoming loose due to excess heat. This might be due to a faulty heat sensor, but counter-intuitively could also be due to a low voltage supply, that is, drawing more power than the circuit can handle so the voltage drops. My os is vista. keeps saying usb connecting. what next?

The autoplay window should have popped up, and then select "Open folder to view files". If not, open file explorer and there should be a drive labled "Boss_BR". The only playable files will be located in the MP3 folder. You have to export your tracks (Using the MBR) as .mp3 or .wav for them to be playable.
