My ford f150-88 no get cherge i replace the alterator

The small wire which goes to the Alternator brushes is suppose to slip over the connector post. Often the connection is missed even though the plastic connector has locked in place.

What some mechanics do is work the metal clip outside the plastic housing and then fit the metal clip on the post or tab to insure that the wire is connected. Then the plastic housing is slid down the wire and locked into the Alternator housing.

How to change clock on intermatic t101p

Step 1:

Turn power off to time clock

Step 2:

Remove the wires, but mark them/label them from where they came from! Should be 4 of them. 2 on the posts marked Line and 2 on the posts marked Load.
Line wires are coming from your power source and will usually have the small white wires with them to provide power to its internal clock motor.
Load wires will go to the motor.

Step 3:

Near the top on the left side you will see a clip style holder. That holds/locks the clock into place. Push up on that clip and with a free hand grab the clock mechanism and pull. The clock should come down and out as you pull.
Take new mechanism and find its resting hook at bottom and just reverse the step above. It should slide into place & lock under that clip. You will hear a click/snap.

Step 4:

Replace the wires that you marked: the 2 Line wires and the 2 Load wires. Check the schematic and ensure that the positions are the same as old or not.
Some older clocks had this schematic: Line - Load, Line - LoadSome newer clocks had it this way: Line - Line, Load - Load

Step 5:

Tighten the screw nice & tight and ensure that you have line wires on the line post and the Load wires on the Load post.
You should be golden.

Car battery is dead. I have a Black and Decker Simple Start car battery recharger. I can figure out how to plug the outlet part into the wall but I do not know what to do about the part that goes onto...

You should have 2 wires with clips = one red that you clip on the Positive [ + ] post of the battery, this may be marked red on the cable. The other black clips to the Negitive [ - ] post of the battery.
Don't plug in the charger untill you clip the wires to the battery, make sure the charger is set to 12 volts. If your cherger has a cigar lighter wire just plug it in to the dash port.

I just put a new starter pral in and it pulled once and now it won't catch again when you pull it.

The wire clip that secures the pulley also acts as a clutch, as the pulley turns the wire clip tries to stay still, and in doing so pushes the plastic pawl out, so you either do not have enough tention on the clip around the centre post, or the wire clip is not around the plastic dowel on the starter pawl.

Where Can I find HT-DB600 Speaker Wire Adapters?

Actually, you don't need the adapters. All you need are conductive posts of the same diameter as the plug openings.

I just chopped up some large paper clips and attached them to the end of a piece of speaker wire, then inserted the paper clip 'posts' into the adapter openings, and attached the other end of wire to the speakers (forming a kind of bridge).

And viola! Worked perfectly! It takes a little effort, but is much less time consuming then hunting down antiquated proprietary plugs and costs nothing!

The 0 gauge wire i bought for my amp wont fit in my amps power or ground slots. the ring terminal that comes with it is way to big but at the same time the ring terminal is also to small for my battery...

strip the ends of your huge wire and untwist the wires and the should form a few smaller wire bundles, keep as much wire together than will easily fit into the amp and clip the rest. MAKE SURE THE WIRE IS CLIPPED CLOSE. IF IT TOUCHES THE AMP IT WILL SHORT!

As for the terminal, clip the ring off the wire and unwind the wire just as before. When you look at it the wires should look like little fingers. (should be seperated into small bundles) wrap these around the bolt (or as much of it as you can while still leaving room for the bolt to screw back in)

and thats it!!!!! just make sure you clip any excess wires. dont want to blow that new unit.

GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!!!!

Is there a way to open up a Shure Beta 58A?

Once you remove the grill, there is a C-Clip that holds the cartridge down into the handle. Use some c-clip pliers to pull the c-clip out of the handle. The c-clip will remain around the post on the cartridge, but that's ok.

I have changed the fuse on my microwave.dont know to put back the wiring on the capacitor

Generally, two wires, two clips - put one on each. I sure hope they are discharged before you touch them - potentially about 20,000 <> volts. There may be a diode or other electronic device that goes to ground from one of the terminals.

Each of the two termnals may have two or more places to clip the wire ... but it is still the clip.

Yours may be differrent - if it is, please post and I will address that issue

You dont mention the brand of oven.

thanks

I cannot get my front speaker wires to connect in without falling out of the unit. Do the wires need to be a certain gauge to lock them down?

No enough info: does your system has spring clips or binding posts for speaker connection? Sometimes spring clips are not spring loaded, so you have to lift some type of clip, push wire in than lock the wire down. Can't see from the picture-is it Sony DAV system? If you're using too thick wire, that may pose the problem.

Im wiring a cd player to my 01 ford taurus and i cant find the cd player clip. Where is it?

If you can not find the clip, then you can run a wire from your battery on the positive post through the fire wall of your car to the cd playerand the othe power wire off your ignition key switch wire but do not do it if you do not know how to do so.
