The LE error code can be an indication of several different issues.
The most common cause is over-sudsing in the machine. Many times owners experiencing the LE error code are using regular detergent. It is recommended to use a high efficiency or low sudsing detergent.
Overloading the wash with too much laundry may also cause the LE error code.
Lastly, a breakdown in the signal between the microprocessor and the motor may
cause the error code. This can occur if there is a loose wire, dislodged ball
sensor, or if the shipping bolts are removed prior to situating the washer.
Good luck!
My first solution was relates to the LE code for the washing machine. I believe that your error code is "IE".If so,its relates to water input problem. Check first the filters on the inlet water line (both sides). Then, if problem still exist - check that the inlet water valve works(it is an electromagnet valve, located at the pipe's entrance to the machine)). If it doesn't work, test that it get power. In case it get power and doesn't work - You should replace it. Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! LE code on Kenmore washer
An LE error code is displayed when the tub fails to spin. The error code indicates that the motor can't operate properly because you've overloaded the washing machine, or a foreign object is stuck in the tub.

An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load. Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error with a reduced load size.
Since the machine shuts down after working for few minutes , it is possible that it shuts at the time of drain and the suspect can be a damaged or clogged drain pump.
So check the voltage on the drain pump at this time to confirm

You didn't state the make or model of your machine, but I'm guessing that it's an LG machine (It's the only one that I can think of at the moment that produces an "LE" error.
LE Means LOCK ERROR - the trouble shooting information says this means taht the lead wire assembly is not connected. What this actually means is that the little switch that is sat behind the door catch that locks the door shut once the cycle starts isn't working. Most likely because a wire has fallen off the back of the switch, or the switch has failed open circuit.
If you take the lid off the machine and tip it back so you can get a clear look at the casing of the machine from the inside, you should be able to see the switch immediately behind the door catch that you can see from the outside. If you're lucky, you will see a connector, hanging in the air where it has come off a spade connector on the switch. If you're unlucky, the switch may need replacing, if you're really unlucky, the wiring may be faulty somewhere.
Wiring connection is OK? The Impeller of Washing Pump is locked. The rotor of Washing Motor is locked. The Blade is locked.
Remedy:
Check the wiring connection. Replace the cause of restriction. Replace the Washing Motor. Replace the PCB.
Try the following steps:
Unplug the washing machine if you see an LE error on the two-digit display electronic readout. This error indicates a miscommunication between the control panel and wash motor.
Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button on the front panel for five seconds.
LE means "Overload in Motor" Unplug the washer, remove clothes, wait 15 minutes for motor to cool down. try again. If problem persists you'll need a certified technician.
LE error code: This indicates a locked motor condition. Please check
the following conditions.
Large loads of laundry can put a strain on the motor causing the LE
error code. Try removing some clothing and restart.
Excessive suds can cause the LE error code. Make sure the customer is
using an HE (High Efficiency) detergent. They should decrease the
amount of detergent until the machine washes without suds. A few
bubbles can be expected. Areas that have soft water will usually need
to use less detergent.
If you suspect that excessive suds are the problem, let the machine
stand for 30 min (motor cool down) and then run a rinse and spin cycle
before restarting the load.
If these directions are followed and the code persists, the machine
will likely need service.
