i have taken it to a service centre on your recomendation and they suspect water damage as the indicator on the battery had changed colour. hopefully the numbers will be saved. thank you for your help

Thanks for that advice. However my phone has been fixed now. the problem was down to water damage. i have read of the software problems though and i will be saving your link in case i suffer such problems. Thanks again

When turning on tv. screen will display Bravia image & then go blank. red light flashes SIX times

Power off the television. Wait a few minutes, then power it back on. If this does not correct the issue leave the power on, point your remote control towards the Sony television and hold the down arrow button. While holding the down arrow button press the "Power" button. Release the down arrow button and the Sony TVicon1.png will reset itself to factory settings. Once the television performs a scan on itself your problem should be gone.

K800i not switching on and flashing red.

Hi,

Try taking out the battery overnight. Then put back in and try to turn on. You can flash your phone's software using the Sony Ericsson update service.

My sony ericsson W810i wont turn ON

G'day, tell me, when you press the on/off button does the infra red port flash a red light? If so the is a software related fault. On my google page: http://trogg07.googlepages.com/. There's a set of instructions that have worked for K800 but apparently it works with any SE phone that uses a DCu-60 Cable. You could try it at your own risk.
Tell me how it goes.
Cheers
