they must send you a new one.. but they can fix it but it will take a long time. they will send the unit to the manufacturer

you need a new sending unit. A new sending unit will come with a fuel pump. If the sending unit does not fix it then you have a wiring problem.

no they will definatly fix it because they send you a reconditioned one its not the one you send to them. iv had 4, 1 i bought 2 replacements from microsoft and now my new one i bought.

Contact Sony @ 1-877-253-SONY for a RMA, they should send you a new machine or fix yours, this is a common defect.

I beleive they send you a completely new one for replacement. Unfortuniately I have yet to had to send mine in for repairs.
