Bought Hasbro family game night game and cannot sync additional remotes for more players. Tried resyncing with the red buttons but to no avail. We get the screen to add additional players by pushing
Bouth the Hasbro Family Game Night game and we cannot get the wii remotes to sync to add the additional players. The screen comes up to sync the remotes but pushing the A button does nothing. We resynced all the remotes by pressing the red button on the console and the the red button by the batteries on the remotes but nothing seems to work. We can only get 1 remote to sync for player 1.

Try to resync your Nintendo Wii remote by removing the battery cover on the back and by pressing the red 'SYNC' button. Then afterwards press the SYNC button on the Wii console. If these steps and tips do not work, remove the batteries of the Wii Remote and leave them out for at least 5 minutes. Reinsert the batteries into the controller and try to sync the Wii Remote again. It could also mean that the batteries have stop working and need to be replaced.
Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.
Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up, and press the SYNC button just below the batteries. The Player LED will blink.
Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.
When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 to 4).
This procedure must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to your system.
The red button, is a sync button and not a reset button. You can try resyncing your wii remotes to your wii follow these steps:
Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it
on.
Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of
the Wii console.
Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii
Remote you
wish to sync up.
Press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card
compartment
on the console. Press and release the SYNC button just below the
batteries
on the Wii Remote.
When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The
LED that
is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
You must have batteries in when pressing the red sync button on the wii remote, if your using the wii remote charger system, you must remove it and use batteries until this step is done
right to resync the remotes you need to open the little door at the front of the wii console then there should be a red button behind it then open the wii remote where the batteries are then theres a little sync button and hold in both buttons then the remote and console should link up
You need to re-assign to the Wii. When you first bought it you pressed the button on the front of the Wii to configure controllers, then the controller buttons to find the Wii. When you change batteries you need to repeat this process as the 'memory' of the controller to the Wii has been wiped

least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes:
