If you have functions but no sound, its unlikely that there will be a separate fuse for the factory external amplifier. Have your owners manual? It has an appendix with a page number to the relevant fuse locations

SOURCE: jbl radio in toyota sequoia

If I unplug all the wires from the CD player won't the security system lock up my stereo system? Which means that I have to go to a dealer to get the code from them.

SOURCE: 2003 Toyota Echo radio/clock not working.

Disconnect your negative battery cable for about 10min. After you re-connect, the stereo should reset itself and start functioning. Best of luck!

I have a 2007 Toyota Solara and my blinkers don't work hazard turn on everything work but my turn singles and all my other gauges.

CARS ARE COMPLEX, FOR SURE 2007 UP. ARE.
ELECTRICS ARE FOR SURE,
WHAT NOT TOLD YOU IS WHAT ALL WORKS AND DOES NOT
FULLY AND BRIEF. LIKE:
DOES CAR START ,RUN AND DRIVE OK DAY /NIGHT.???????????
SO THE CLUSTER IS DEAD (IP CLUSTER) WELL MOST TIMES THAT IS A 20CENT FUSE BLOWN WHY NOT TEST ALL FUSES FIRST.
GAUGES ARE DEAD, WARNING LAMPS TOO?
IS THE KEY ON CHARGE LAMP DEAD? IF YES FUSE IS BLOWN
DOES ANY THING ELSE IN THE CLUSTER FAIL>? OR WORK?
TURN SIGS DEAD ,LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT AND REAR DEAD OR JUST THE SILLY CUSTER TURNS DEAD, DID YOU LOOK OUTSIDE CAR FOR ALL TURNS DEAD??????????????????
HAZARD WORK OR ARE STUCK ON NOT BLINKING? ??????
SOLARA IS CHEAP CAMRY
I SCAN THE PCM FIRST OR CHECK ALL FUSES. TOSS COIN AND D IT.?
THERE ARE AT ;LEAST 4 FUSES THAT POWER THE CLUSTER.
NAMED
IG2, ECU-B, ECU-ACC, GAUGE1,

MY GUESS IS FUSES ARE BLOWN.
I AM READING THE SERVICE MANUAL TO YOU NOW,
AFTER ALL ELECTRICS ARE COMPLEX, AND GUESSING FAILS
NOW TURNS DEAD
FUSE GAUGE1 , POWER TURNS BRAIN
AS DOES FUSE HAZ.

IF FUSE BLOWS AGAIN ASK FOR THE 2ND LONG LONG STORY OF TESTS, 10AMP FUSE NEVER LOWER OR HIGHER AMPS ALLOWED.

Trying to install a new radio into my 06 Toyota Solara car works but getting no power to the radio... Not sure what I hooked up wrong

If you hooked everything up correctly check the car fuse for your radio/accessories in the fuse box of your car. Usually people let wires touch other things while installing and this can cause a short which will blow the radio fuse. Fuse box should be either in the area under the steering wheel or somewhere under your hood usually covered with a plastic cap. Check your owners manual to find it and check the cover to locate which fuse it is. Pull the fuse out and if the bridge is broken your fuse is blown. Replace and it should work. If it blows out again after replacing it there's likely a short somewhere in your power connection.

2008 solara convertible radio cuts in and out

This is a well-known problem of Solara convertibles with JBL audio systems. Here's a link to the fix. I didn't need a ratchet - the bolts can be removed with a phillips head.

The roof on my vw eos is stuck open and I can't open the trunk

This problem could be caused by a sensor being trapped or a fuse has blown, check your fuse box under the hood Identify the one for the roof system it may also be the same one for the boot lock.
the roof system is quite complex and has about 8 pumps or somthing to make it work.
if it is some other malfunction of the roof system I would recommend taking it to the dealership as any forcement of the roof may cause damage and become more costly than what VW will charge you on repair. if there is a large cost due to pump or other defect ask them to manually close the roof, at least you will not get wet and you can still drive your car. until you can get the repair made.
