You have to go into system programming . Press the feature button then the star key two times and then the password which is 266344 by default . so it should look like this . F ** 266344 and then repeat the password 266344 . now that you are in you look for the heading speed dial numbers . if you need help to find the heading then you can call me and I can walk you through it . My name is Efren and you can reach me at 626-712-5753 m-f 9:00 am to 5:00 pm pacific time .

I need instruction manual to program speed dial

I was unable to locate a user manual for that particular device, however the basic instructions for programming speed dial functions are normally very similar between most phones.

Generally there are ONE TOUCH Speed Dial buttons labelled something like M1, M2, and M3 on the dial pad somewhere.

There should also be another button labelled PROG or STORE on the keypad as well.

Normally to program a number into a ONE TOUCH speed dial memory location you carry out the following procedure:

Lift the handset.

Then press the PROG (or STORE) button.

Now just use the number keypad to dial the full telephone number that you want to store in a Speed Dial location.

Once the full telephone number is dialed, then push the M1 button to store that phone number in the M1 One Touch Speed Dial location.

The phone may or may not show some kind of confirmation that the M1 location was just programmed, then just hang up the handset.

Now when you lift the handset and press the M1 button, the phone should automatically dial the phone number you programmed into it.

Now just repeat the same process for the M2 and M3 One Touch Speed Dial buttons with other phone numbers if necessary.

To change one of the Speed Dial numbers, just carry out the normal programming procedure for that location using the new phone number and the old number will simply be overwritten.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.

Joe.

Hi I have a panasonic KX-T433 phone system which I am trying to put in speed dial numbers, we have to dial 9 to dial out does any one know how to do this using a 9 in front?

You have neither a 7730 (the category you asked in) or a 7433 phone sytem. If your phone is really a 7433, you have a TD phone system. Which "speed dial numbers" are you trying to program? System speed dials, are stored in system program 001 and consist of a 3 digit number (may be 2) with a "9" in front and the number as you would dial it from the keypad. Personal speed dial numbers depend on the button you're programming it onto. If it's a button with a light, you dial "2" in front of it. If not, you don't. So, Program 99, button, and either 29 + number STORE or 9+number STORE programs a personal speed dial.

There are other programs to store under the tone pad keys. Those features are covered in your User's manual for the TD system.

Forumla for adding speed dial numbers

Personal speed (the 12 F buttons on the right) depend on whether you dial "9" to get an outside line. Then the buttons are programmed by pressing PROGRAM the button and dialint the speed dial number with a 9+ then STORE. System speed dial number sare programmed in SYSTEM programming 001 and they have "9" also in front of them.
