How to Open Internet Options Each browser has a way to customize it, and you do it using Internet Options. With Internet Options, you can specify your privacy settings, security and your home page with a few clicks of your mouse. Knowing how to open Internet options is essential to preventing hackers from accessing your computer or keeping people from viewing your Internet history. Opening the window in Firefox, Internet Explorer, or with your computer's control panel is not a difficult task. Instructions Firefox 1 Launch the Firefox browser. 2 Go to the toolbar at the top of the browser and select "Tools." 3 Move the mouse pointer down the tool menu until you get to "Options." Click on that word. Your Firefox Internet Options will immediately open.
Internet Explorer 1 Launch the Internet Explorer browser. 2 Click on the "Tools" menu located on the tool bar, at the top of the browser. 3 Move the mouse cursor down that menu until you get to "Internet Options." Left click on those words. Your Internet Options window will immediately open.
Computer Control Panel 1 Go to the Start Menu. 2 Click on the "Control Panel." 3 Click "Network Internet Options." Then, Click "Internet Options." You will be able to change Internet Explorer options, but not those of other browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome
If you have older browsers like Internet Explorer 6 or 7 - they will quite often show errors while opening. You can try to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 (for Windows XP) or Internet Explorer 9 (Windows Vista and Windows 7).
Opera browser strictly follow standards and sometimes doesn't support non-standard web applications.
Therefore I would recommend to use either Google Chrome or Firefox 4 as your default browser. As for the above mentioned browsers - Opera and Internet Explorer there are no easy solutions for now.
Open the Chrome and clear cache and browsing data options, Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
Open a new window in Incognito mode, Ctrl + Shift + n, check for unwanted extensions enabled and check for chrome updates (settings - > help -> check for updates)
First, try to access your account in a different internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera) or different computer, if you can access the other games, then the problem could be the internet browser that you are using.
You need to try optimizing your internet browser. Here's how:
* For Internet Explorer version 6 1. Open IE6 > Tools > Internet Options. 2. Click the Delete Cookies button and Delete History. 3. Click on OK > Close and re-open your IE6. 4. Try accessing your e-mail account.
* For Internet Explorer version 7 1. Open IE7 > Tools > Internet Options. 2. Click the "Delete" button under the Browsing History option. 3. Delete the Cookies, Internet Files 4. Click on OK > Close and re-open IE7 5. Try accessing your e-mail account.
* For Mozilla FireFox 1. Open Firefox > Tools 2. Select "Clear Recent History" 3. Select Cookies, Cache, Browsing and Download History. 4. Close and re-open Firefox 5. Access your e-mail
On your mozilla browser try clicking tools, then options, under advance, click network. Under network you would see settings click it. And click auto detection of proxy setting. And click ok right after. This should do
The problem is more than likely with Internet Explorer itself, not your computer. If you press Ctrl+Alt+Del, you can start the task manager, which will allow you to close IE without rebooting your entire computer. There's also no need to reformat your hard drive. You can try updating IE to see if that helps, or try using another browser (like Firefox, for example).
Interesting problem. Have you tried installing another internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox? I love Firefox it saves my tabs/open webpages if I select that option when I shut down the PC even if your PC crashes 90% of the time it will have your tabs/pages saved. The only problems I have experienced with Firefox (minor issue) is some websites hosting videos that are "save as" won't download but this happens rarely. Firefox is also
less vulnerable to phishing and hacking according to the Mozilla website http://www.mozilla.org/
I have had nothing but problems with Windows Vista since I got my Acer Aspire 5610. It crashes daily or 1-2 times a week. I have heard Windows Vista Premium is a better version, but haven't tried it. I know you can purchase installer discs from Acer on their webpage but don't know if you can get them in Windows XP. I have considered dumping the Vista and paying to get XP installed instead.
THIS I HAVE SOLVED ON MY OWN HP9700 LAPTOP. GO TO INTERNET OPTIONS>ADVANCED TAB AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE YOU WILL SEE A BUTTON TO "RESET INTERNET EXPLORER TO DEFAULT SETTINGS". THIS WILL CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM WITH IE. IT WILL GO BACK TO ITS SETTINGS BEFORE THE FREEZES. I HAVE USED THIS AND IT WORKS GREAT. SEE IF THIS DOESN'T CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK.
he probably changed a setting or two...it happens...i recommend that on a separate computer you download firefox...click me to get firefox Firefox is a more secure web browser than standard ie (internet explorer) so download it to your desktop and you can either 1. put it on a flash drive to put on your grandson's laptop or 2 because you said he can get his email you can send the file to him hope this helps
download a program called "advanced system care" and run it, it may fix your problem,
could be firewall, registry error, spyware etc... it should fix .
