Hi
I have Samsung TV UE46ES8090 with which I use PC with Win7 b64 with Samsung link installed. Everything was fine up to some weeks a go, I was able to stream media files (mp3, images, video) from PC to TV without problems... Now for some time I am unable to do so and for any file that I choose to play on TV I get "the selected file is not currently supported". This msg is returned for any file (image, mp3, video...) I have tried to switch-off firewall and played with network setting etc but no luck. I am now only able to use USB to watch the same content which previously played over LAN.
If anyone has advice please post.
First, open the Device Manager and
uninstall the drive,. If you need instructions on how to open the
Manager, here is the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283658
Download and install CCleaner
(free) from Piriform
Run the cleaner to remove old
un-needed temp files
Select the StartUp tab and look
for any programs that you know you installed but no longer use or
need, and disable them. Caution, do
not disable any system files unless you absolutely know what they
do and that you do not need them.
Run the Registry cleaner, when
asked if you want to backup the registry, select YES,
and save to a file you will remember just in case. I have used this
program hundreds of time on many different system and it has never
caused a problem, but you want to be safe, backup the Registry.
If asked about a particular file
that it wants to clean, select "yes to all"
Reboot

If this does not work I would call Samsung support and ask them
If this helps resolve your issue,
would you please rate the solution
