I had the same problem with my TV (LE50FHDE3010). Using code 9735, would take me to the factory settings where I could toggle mirror control, but it always reverted upside down when I turned it off and on. I ended up calling TCL and they had me use code 1950 to get into the Design Mode Menu. Here I could turn Mirror Control off and on, but still the same issue when I power off/on the TV. They had me change the PROJECT_ID from 7 to 8 (which they said was default) and they fixed the issue for good.

Screen display upside down

I think you should go to the settings and make sure rotate is not turned off. Also, try to calibrate your screen again.

Display is completely upside down

Try connecting it to a different computer. If it's upside-down on another computer, then the panel is probably mounted upside-down. If it can be removed from the stand, remove it and see if it can be mounted the other way.

If it's correct on another computer, then your graphics settings are incorrect. Assuming you're running Windows, go to Display Properties, Settings tab, click Advanced button, look for a tab describing your video adapter (usually ATI or NVIDIA). In the video adapter's setup there is usually a Rotation option. The rotation option may be set to 180-degrees instead of Normal or 0-degrees.

Palm TX screen.

Upside down or just sideways? There is a "rotate" button on the bottom of the screen that allows you to go from landscape to portrait mode.
