Hi! does anybody know how to instal programmes such as Microsoft Word fro my own computer onto a Sandisk Cruzer?

turn the radio off then go into the menu and configure blue tooth and wifi to on.

with radio and device on set device to discoverable.
have radio scan for new devices and pair with code.

While in the computer you can go to the file and then right click it...go down to properties and then click properties...at the bottom of the window there should be the attributes for the file...check to see if the read only box is checked...if it is...uncheck it and then try to copy it onto the sandisk cruzer

First step is to connect the cruzer blade sandisk to the PC.

Either you copy the files and open My Computer and then Open the Cruzer Drive and paste or Right click on the file or folder and click Send To and choose the Cruzer location to send.

Insert the cruzer into the usb port. You should see a message pop up and say new hardware found and then flash off. It may also say usb memory or storage device or even recognize it as the cruzor. This recognition process is fairly quick say 5-10 seconds. After that the computer knows what the cruzer is and its ready for use.

The cruzer is now seen as another drive or storage drive on your computer. Your hard drive is usually C , the CD/DVD would be D drive and the cruzer would be seen as E. If you are in a program and want to save to the cruzer you open the file/save and you should see E drive or Cruzer if not click on my computer and look for it there. Once you find it just click on it and then hit save/ok. Thats all there is to using one. Once you know how to find it as a save option or a loading option then you just treat it like a hard drive.

Once you get it sorted out you will use it a lot. They are very handy.

You can't save a program that is installed on your computer, but there is an option. You can install a program to your cruzer, or if a program is a downloaded program, you can download and save it to your cruzer, before you install it. This is like this, to prevent software piracy... Otherwise, I could steal a program from any computer, and copy it to a flash drive...

A SanDisk Cruzer Mini is a memory stick, like a modern floppy disk. Plug it into a USB port (a thin rectangular hole) - it may be at the back of your computer. Your computer should then recognise it and you can copy files onto it.

Transfer the files using another computer onto a CD or DVD as data ,the put them onto yournew computer. Your disk is Mini USB 1.1 and likely the new computer is a 2.0 and it ashould be backward compatable but from what they told you they know that it is not. .

Is your Sandisk Micro USB enabled with password on U3 (a program to install programs on the go, for more information go to www.u3.com)? If it is, go to a Windows machine and disable the password. Then format your drive.
