Yes,it the dam heat.Clean the sensor out with some windex.Take some plasic wrap cover the senor,will block out most of the humidity,that should stop the fault alarm.
take top off machine. look down right side and you will see a disc about 50 mm in diameter, attached to this is a small flexible rubber pipe, take this off at the disc and blow through it,( you will need some type of pipe to connect to the rubber pipe).this worked for me with the very same problem.
They are not 'user friendly'. Sorry mate it's a new unit. You can try though, take the unit off, open it and the rocker switch is accessable. Clean the switch thoroughly, and spray with some penitrating oil (wd40 or sim) I will force any water, rust or debris out and it may sort it, but I am afraid it will be a replacement.
