Sony projector vpl-EX70 Onage LAMP/Cover blink twice reapatingly.I have already changed the Lamp but no joy.Standby light stays red.

definately a lamp problem, for some reason the projector doesnt seem to accept or recognize the new lamp and switches to "safe mode". usually the projector turns off before the bulb explodes...

hi,
your projectors lamp cover may be open. or there is some thing happened (may be contact problem) with the lamp cover open sensing switch. just open the door and close it. and then try again.

I think so problem is in lamp better replace lamp

The lamp cover has a safety interlock device so the unit will not come on if the cover is missing, maybe the safety interlock is faulty or the part of the cover that engages the safety has come away. Other than that I'm not sure what the poblem would be. That is were I would start.
