Speed dial - NorStar Jazz Plus 4400 Corded Phone

ou can save up to 8 phone numbers in your speed dial book. The speed dial keys go from 2 to 9. When you place a call, our system prompts you to "enter the phone number you wish to dial". You just press the appropriate speed dial key followed by the pound sign (#) and your call goes through. No long numbers to enter any more!

If you set a speed dial for our access number on your phone machine, you have to press three keys only to complete a dial - as easy as "1-2#"! That's it!

For example, you can set your parents' phone number as speed dial key 2 and your friend's number as key 3. After dialing the access number from your phone, you will press 2 then # to reach your parents, or press 3# to reach your friend. Nothing could be easier!
Speed Dial set up Instructions:
Dial the access number, wait for prompt.
Enter PIN number, wait for prompt.
Dial: "#" "2" "#" [a speed dial number: 1-9] "#" [destination number] "#". The system will confirm the number.
Example: [#] [2] [#] [5] [#] [011-888-88-88-88-88] [#]
Use Speed Dial:
Dial the access number, wait for prompt.
Enter PIN number, wait for prompt.
Dial: [speed dial key (1-9)] "#"

1) To program a personal speed dial number, leave the handset on-hook. Press ALM/SD followed by the DSS button where you want to store the number. Dial the telephone number to save, up to 30 digits (press HOLD to insert a 3-second pause or MSG in insert a hookflash). Press ALM/SD to store the number.
2) To dial a speed dial number, select an outside line. Press the ALM/SD button. Dial the desired speed dial code 10-98 (system speed dial) OR press the desired speed dial button on your phone (personal speed dial).
3) System speed dial numbers may only be programmed by the system administrator.

Create speed dial entries for fax numbers that you use frequently. The number of speed dial entries you can set up depends on the HP device. For more information, see the specifications for the HP device.
To manually create a speed dial entry 1 In the HP Solution Center, click Settings, point to Fax Settings and Setup, and then click Fax Speed Dial Settings. 2 Click New Entry. 3 In the Speed Dial Settings - New Entry dialog box, type a name and fax number, and then click OK. 4 In the Speed Dial Settings dialog box, click Save. The entry is stored on the HP device.
Note If you are creating a speed dial entry for a networked HP device and you are unable to save the entry, another user on the network might have accessed the same speed dial. Wait a few minutes and try to save the entry again. To create a speed dial entry from the Address Book 1 In the HP Solution Center, click Settings, point to Fax Settings and Setup, and then click Fax Speed Dial Settings. 2 Under Address Book, click Select From. 3 In the Address Book dialog box, select one or more names, and then click OK. 4 In the Speed Dial Settings dialog box, click Save. speed dial must set at port ' 00 ' or 000
to check, use display phone, press #402 or #401
speed dial code are from 60 to 99
to set press speed dial , redial , speed dial code eg. 60, press 9 follow by destination number asn redial to confirm
to use speed dial to call press speed dial short key follow by speed dial code or *60

For speed dial go to Main Menu >> settings >> initial setup >> Speed dial >> Phone Memory.

Than transfer numbers which you want to assign as speed dial in Phone memory.

Goto particular contact and edit the number and assign it as Speed dial.

what system u using??
if DK series go to phone port number "000" (at phone press Intercom #401 to check port), check at every phone with display phone.
- to set speed dial press REDIAL SPEED DIAL standard speed dial   code 60 or 600, follow by 9+destination number, REDIAL to confirm.
- to call press speed dial + code or press * + speed dial code (*60 / *600)
- if CTX/CIX must set at adminsrater phone. #66, speed dial code number (200-999), 9 follow destination number #
- to dial press *200...

To assign a number to a speed dialing key, select Menu > Address Book > Speed
dial list, and scroll to the speed-dialing number that you want.
Select Assign or, if a number has already been assigned to the key, select Options >
Change. Select Find and the contact you want to assign. If the Speed dialing function
is off, the phone asks whether you want to activate it


FOR MAKING CALL

Assign a phone number to one of the speed dialing keys, 2 to 9. Call the number
in either of the following ways:
• Press a speed dialing key, then the call key.
• If Speed dialing is set to On, press and hold a speed-dialing key until the cal

Press and hold a number key (0-9) associated with the speed dial until the phone number appears, and then press talk/flash or speaker on the handset or speaker on the base. The number stored in the speed dial is dialed.

No, You should have 999 speed diaL PLACES ON YOUR PHONE to see press 10 and then hash and it will show the 10th contact you added
