My Xacto School Pro pencil sharpener is only sharpening about one pencil at a time before "losing steam." I can still hear and feel it running, but VERY slowly. If I wait about an hour, it will sharpen...

Most electric pencil sharpeners have a switch that shuts the sharpener off when it gets too hot. There may be multiple issues here.
First, the sharpener is overheating with one pencil. This shouldn't happen and may indicate an internal issue: either the motor is working too hard, or there is material inside the motor compartment insulating it an causing more heat build-up.
Second, the cut-off switch may not be fully disengaging the current. This could be a dangerous situation, as electricity is crossing where it shouldn't.
You may need to disassemble the body of the sharpener and clean debris out of the motor area. While in there, look for any bits of lead that could bridge a gap in wiring. Pencil lead is conductive.

How do I change the blade on a iPoint evolution pencil sharpener?

Have you tried unscrewing the small circle that you insert the pencil into? Once that part comes off the blade should be more exposed.

Help with my Royal p70 electric pencil sharpener and I can't seem to get anywhere... A lead is broken in the sharpening gears and I don't know how to take apart the sharpener to remove it.. Ca

Turn sharpener upside down. On the bottom, you will see 6 black dots. Four of them are Legs while the middle two are covers to two screws. Peel the stickey cover off the middle two, exposing two phillips head screws. Once the two very long screws are out, the entire unit will fall out of the casing. You may have to push in the small plastic locking devise at the bottom. Good Luck!
