I have a microsoft lifecam vx-6000, and have instaled the software for it, my computer says new found web cam, but when i try to open it, im told the soft ware cant be found, and told to put the disk back...

1. You possibly will need to go to the manufacturers web site and download the the latest drivers for your Lifecam which may not be backward compatible with your operating system (Windows).
2. If you are running Windows 7 you may want to run the "compatibility wizard" to see if your camera's software will run in another Windows operating system mode Ex. Windows 98 or XP \

In want the software for the lifecam vx-100

Here is the website to download the software. You have to answer the questions to determine your camera type, operating system, etc. but once you do you'll get to the drivers for your camera.
