My mp3 won't turn on, my computer won't read/recognize my mp3 and I've reset the mp3 countless times. Nothing seems to work...

I want to edit on Windows media player, to add titles, move to different places, etc. When I try to find my mp3 player, it will only locate in SYNC. It will only let me delete songs or add songs. ill plug mine in and when i usually plug it in the computer makes a bing noise like it recognizes that its in the usb plug but 2 seconds later it will make the bong noise that i unplugged it which i didnt so i cant put any new music on. it will charge but it wont let me get any music on. and windows doesnt read that its in there.
