Hello, My Quiet series is not quite 3 years old and besides the noise works good. However the other day i did a load and when all was said and done it did not clean anything.
The water enters into the dishwasher, i can hear the motor but the water does not spray around inside the dishwasher. The motor does not seem seized as i can turn the blades for the water.
Can you please suggest to me what the problem is
All lights work on the door, the water goes in and if i hit cancel will drain out...but the water does not spin around inside
Please help
Thanks
I have a fridgidaire with nearly the same problem. It is an ultraquiet III (model fdb75orcc1) that is noisey as all heck. The dishes on the top rack arent getting washed. It looks to me like a spray should come out and make the top propeller spin and it does not. I checked under the strainer in the bottom and nothing looks clogged.I have a fridgidaire with nearly the same problem. It is an ultraquiet III (model fdb75orcc1) that is noisey as all heck. It sound like a pump issue. The dishwasher has a motor that attached to a pump which forces the water up into the sprayer arms and during the drain cycle, it pushes the water out of the dishwasher.
The motor (and pump) located beneath the dishwasher.
Check if pump spins when it should force the water up into the sprayer arms.
In case it doesn't spin you should replace the pump.
Good luck !

Hello, I bought a set of Yokohama tires for my car. I researched the DiscountTire.com Website and chose them for being quiet, good performance, and a soft ride (long life). I believe I originally read about them in a Consumers Report test or a Mechanics Illustrated article.
The Series I chose was equivalent to the Triple-Tread design another maker has. I had my concerns about snow traction and long distance high-speed use and they have performed well. I took several road trips from Michigan to the Texas coast(24 Hours with only Pit-Stops) and they were a good choice. Only had concerns of a high pitched singing noise on about 5% of unfamiliar roads which could have made a noise with any tire.
As with any test, new models of an old name may test differently in the Year it is made. The YOKO's now show as less fuel-efficient than only a few makes. Everything is a compromise with Tire compounds. I gained 5% better mileage by changing the Series from a 60 to a 65.
Unless you had a problem with the original tires, I would say to compare your tire to the YOKO's and see what you gain for the price. You do have to do front to rear rotations as compared to cross-rotations because of the tread pattern.
Because it will work when you manually set the timer to spin, I would say that the timer has gone bad and that it is not getting you to the spin cycle automatically as it should...
Replace the timer and your good...
That is not that hard to fix and you can easily buy the parts yourself online...
Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...
You first of all need to check the pump filter.
This should be located at the botom front right of washer.
Look for a drop down flap or cover, once located, unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
The pump itself is directly behind the filter housing, check there is nothing stuck in the housing.
This should solve the prob.
Please leave feedback for my solution.
Thankyou.
First, charge the battery.(Always do the easier things first). If that isnt the problem, take a DC volt meter and check the voltage where the battery connects to the solenoid. Then check the voltage on the starter side, while you turn the key,If there is a large voltage drop, or no voltage, replace the solenoid. If voltage okay, then check the starter. Good luck...Lee
We also have a Quiet series 100 and had the same problem, the dishes always came out dingy or with food all over them. My washer is about 5 years old and worked well for about 4 of them but the last year has been doing a poorer and poorer job washing the dishes. I finally broke down and removed the racks and all of the plastic parts from the inside of the washer. Doing this revealed that the groves in the under side of most of the plastic parts was clogged with food and debris. After a good scrubbing with water and a brush then reassembly it worked like a new washer again, cleaning the dishes very well and the best part is it saved us about $700.00 for another washer.
I also had a similar problem with my maytag dryer which is 3 1/2 years old. It was the idler lever assembly with pulley. The part number is 11222607JG and the cost is about $20.00. Hope this helps.
How old is this dryer? If it is older that 15 years get a new one. You don't want to deal with the headaches. The motor may be going bad on it and the wiring could be melting. I assume it is not working now. Have him check the breakers. Make sure the connections are o.k. in the back. Clean out the lint piping and look for lint underneath it as well.
