My 20" onida color tv was attacked by a thunder, and then the tv was automatically turns off and not working so, now i unplugged the tv and removed the back cover and also i removed the circuit from the tv and keeped aside and now i want to know which part of the circuit will be affected how to it fix it at home? please help me. i just checked the fuse but it is good condition and i have 2 transistors in it "Q1.MD1802AFX and Q2.D1426" in this which one is H.O.T? and also i dont know how to check it, please help me.

greetings from belize let me start by saying that these modern computerize sets always have pop up error some times the microchip act up probably your eepromor microchip needs to be reset or replace, take it to a tech for a check up.NB,be care full opening up the back of a tv touching components, a tv store very high voltage that can be very letal.leave the set to a qualified tech.this job could cost about $100.00 good luck.

Just because fuses are intact does not mean it is not damaged. Sometimes a small spike of power does not blow a fuse but damages Transformer windings Before the fuse! If there are no lights picture or sound think powersupply transformer primary.
