You can buy a harness adapter at most big box stores ( Best Buy, Walmart and so on. It will have a wiring/color code, and once attached correctly to the new head unit, it will be plug and play. Good luck.
check the sub works with known good signal from different source. if that works and all settings are double checked then you might try to reset the 300 series to factory reset. try to unplug from the 110 outlet then hold the on button down while plugging it back in this should re iniatalize the unit and if it still doesn't work you may have a hardware problem
you need to remove the radio and swap the red wire for the yellow wire and vice versa, they have bullet connectors to allow you to do this, basically the permanent live and the ignition live are the wrong way round.
