Why not just connect the appropriate size tubing to the lower drain port and hang it out of a window and don't worry about it anymore.

I have an Uberhaus portable air conditioner that empties excess water out a port on the back into a bucket. It's been leaking more out the bottom than into the bucket. please advise.?

The drain port can clog, get restricted by condensed moisture by alga or anything. Try to flush, back flush thru the port, not too much at a time, see what comes out. Particles stick to moisture on cold evaporator and drain out with condensation. Sometimes heavily, sometimes nothing.

Have a Uberhaus 4 in 1 air conditioner and it is producing 4 gal of water in 8 hr is this normal?

Making water is a good thing. As long as it's draining, be happy. Does sound like quite a bit , must be high humidity. No problem though

When i run the ac it leaks on the floor from the inside n i dont know what to do about this problem.

All portable or window ac units are mounted or standing with the back lower housing at a slope

so that the condensed water buildup from the evaporator can drain into a tray or thru a tube out

the back of the unit, depending on what kind of unit you have you may have to take it apart and

make sure the drain for the condensed water is not blocked. some times these units are not

installed correctly, they will not drain properly and standing water with time will turn to rust and

clog up the tube where it needs to flow from the ac unit. good luck!

Hi there and thanks for the allocades.

Unfortunately, I have never seen your original question and have no way to 'pull it up' so, I am shooting from the hip so to say.

Are we talking about a dehumidifier here? Attache a hose to the catch pail and run the hose to a floor drain

Air conditioner? Make sure the window AC is tipped so the outside edge of the bottom is lower than the inside. This will allow condensate to run to the out of doors.

Block? I dunt know ... to hold the outside in the proper position.

If you will clarify your quesitons ... more particulars without going crazy, I will try to address any conderns you may have.

Humidity

An air conditioner of this type always has standing water sitting in the base-tray of the machine as it's running. They're designed to work that way. However, if the unit leans slightly in toward the inside of your house, then the water in the tray can be deeper than it should and/or add extra humidity to the inside air. These units are designed to be installed so that they lean slightly to the _outside_ of the window or wall-hole where they are mounted. This way the standing water drains off to the ground outside and isn't so deep on the inside of the unit that it adds too much humidity to the inside air. Check the mounting of this unit to make sure it leans slightly toward the outside. Also verify that any notch or drain hole on the outside end of the unit, intended to guide draining water, is not clogged with debris (which could also cause the standing water in the unit to be at too high a level). Also verify that the "vent" is closed, if this unit is equipped with said vent opening. An open vent panel can allow humid outside air inside as the unit is running. Hope this helps! ;)
