Why wont wipers gone down when i shut them off?

The park feature must be malfunctioning.
The crank arm on these wiper motors is not solid.....they rotate on themselves......as they rotate around, there is a moveable "peg" underneath the arm.....when you shut the wipers off, this peg catches a "tab" that causes the arm to rotate on itself, and parks the wipers( the tab is part of the mounting bracket that the motor is attached to)......you have to bend that tab upward a little.....do a little at a time....check it out by turning the wipers on and off.....when you have it bent up enough, the tab catches the peg, and the wipers park themselves.....

I have a 75 flh with the passenger peg mounted to the primary inspection cover.is this stock. if not where do they mount

Yes, this is where the passenger foot peg on the left side of the bike goes. There is an arm that clamps onto the round stub on the inspection cover and is afjustable to almost any angle. The right side foot peg support bolts to the end of the transmission and also has an adfustable arm that clamps onto a stub on it. Then the pegs go on the end of the arms. Go to this site and take a look . http://www.bikebandit.com/1975-harley-davidson-flh-1200/o/m770#sch171752 I'm pretty sure they didn't move the peg brackets to the seat tubes of the frame until 1977. If your bike has two holes in a welded-on tab on the rear of the down tubes behind the primary and the transmission, you can use the later model peg brackets. But, if your bike has no holes in the frame or the swingarm for passenger peg brackets, this is the only style you can use and stay original. You could fabricate and weld on tabs to later model peg brackets or use clamp on brackets and pegs.

Good Luck

Replace rear tail light on ford focus wagon 2000

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_replace_the_tail_light_assembly_on_a_2000_Ford_Focus_SE_Station_Wagon

abar_a.gif?v=77611 Remove two screws and rotate to the side

To remove the rear light assembly for access to turn signals and brake lights:
1) Open the trunk to expose two screws.
2) Remove these two screws.
3) There are two brackets still holding the housing onto the car. Do NOT pull up and do NOT pull up on the housing; you will break the plastic pegs on the lamp housing.

4) Referring to the driver side lamp housing and facing the back of the car:

a) You can see these pegs and brackets on your left hand side if you pull the light housing GENTLY outward. The pegs are pointing into the vehicle from the left side of the car and stick into holes. There is also a spring bracket holding the housing on where the screws are.

b) To remove the housing from the brackets, push/pull the right side of the lamp housing outward and to the left. Do this carefully so that you do not break any of the plastic pegs. What you are looking to do is detach the housing from the spring bracket, and then push/pull the pegs from their holes. You are simply rotating the lamp housing out of the brackets.

Simply mirror instructions for removal of passenger side housing.

Replacement:
This part is a little easier. Line the pegs up with the holes, and then push gently to line up spring bracket with it's hole. Then, push with a little force to get the spring in the hole. Make sure the pegs are in their holes or else it will be crooked and loose.

Take your time! You do not want to break the plastic. It should eventually come loose. With any plastic on your vehicle, be careful not to force it. Good luck!

How to remove and replace 2007 Harley Sportster forward shifter and foot pegs? I have stock rubber pegs on my Sportster and they are all rubber, do I need to cut them off to replace them with custom pegs?

The stock pegs have a steel core and are removed by unscrewing, they are almost always damaged beyond reuse upon removal, because the tool (ViseGrips) needed for removal has to bite down to the metal core to unscrew them. Or you could do as you are thinking, cut off the rubber to get at the steel peg and put a ViseGrip on it to unscrew it. They can be tight BTW.
