It might...but it might not, your going to have to do some troubleshooting to find out if you have a bad main, tcon or power board...If your not able to do that then you will need to take it in for service

Both boards might have to be replaced since the TV was damaged by lighting.

Go to Radio Shack and buy a can of freeze spray, Take it down to where you can get to the chassis and when it goes out starting spraying components and when you get the right one the sound will pop back on/ This spray is not flammable and does not conduct electricty. Picture default settings are provided by Samsung. If the colors are not correct you might have a bad Main bd. On the other hand if the picture is good and you want a much better picture then you might consider having a ISF Claibrator calibrate your TV.

Best is kind of subjective since each person's eyes are different. If you are looking for a bright and vivid picture, you can go to the picture mode and change it to that setting. Usually it is called something like "Vivid" or "Dynamic." Besides that, it is all user preference. Most people prefer to just use the factory default settings.

Your TV is in DEMO-STORE MODE.
Go to menu, find Plug & Play option, start it, and when asked, select Home Mode, than Enter and than just Exit.
