I have a washer that overflows only on the large & super capacity settings. The temp is set at cold/cold. I have continuity at the hot & cold solenoids, & at the water level sensor. Any ideas? thanks!
On this model of washer you have 4 separate components that could cause overflowing. The water valve, pressure switch, pressure switch hose & the air dome. If you have to turn the water off to prevent overflowing, I would recommend replacing the water valve. If you can turn the timer off & the water stops overflowing, I would recommend checking the pressure switch, hose & air dome.
Setting the Controls
Use the Suggested Fabric and Cycle Settings guide ~ Select Rinse Temperature.
to help you make the proper selections.
~ Select Wash Spin Speed.
~ Push Cycle Selector knob in and turn clockwise to
your selected wash setting. If you wish to change setting
~ Select Water Level. ~ Pull Cycle Selector knob + START out to start the washer.
SMALL: Washer is less than 1/3 full of clothes.
MEDIUM: Between 1/3 and 1/2 full.
LARGE: Between 1/2 and 2/3 full.
This washer will pretty much take anything you can throw at it. It was a competetor of the Maytag large capacity washers. As long as you follow the loading guide above you are not going to hurt it.

Ok, thanks for your recommendation. I heard a click when I blew into the switch. Then I pulled the front cover off & refilled the washer on its large capacity setting. With the front cover off, I noticed the water overflowing from what appears to be an overflow pipe. I am thinking the pressure switch is faulty, so I have ordered a new one.
