Someone pulled all my plugs in my tower and now I cant find the proper placement. What I have found only shows a limited picture of where to plug in what. Desperately need computer for work. Any ideas of how to get a decent diagram? Or where to plug what.

fwd four cylinder, looking under the hood, number 1 cylinder is in on the left, Cylinder numbers from left to right, 1 2 3 4. Put the number one piston on tdc of compression stroke, whichever spark plug tower the rotor is pointing at or leading into, in the proper direction of rotation, cw, is the number one spark plug tower. Then follow the firing order around the cap, in proper direction.
I could have posted picture of cap, but, in the past, I've seen where those pictures were wrong. Just my opinion.

unplug the #3 plug wire from the coil, have someone crank or start so you can check for proper spark from #3 coil tower (a test light attached to ground works well, get close to tower and spark should jump to test light) be careful don't get shocked. should jump a gap 3/4 inch and be blueish. If good spark possible faulty injector or burnt valve

It's easy to have that problem if someone else installed the distributor incorrectly. In relaity, any one of the cap towers can be used as #1. Turn the engine 'till the timing mark on the front balancer aligns with "0" on the timing scale. With the valve covers on, you can't tell if you are 180 out of phase or at TDC though but if the rotor points towards the firewall, chances are you are 180 off. (In that case, turn the pulley one more turn back to "0" and see where the rotor points. Wherever it is, that is the #1 wire position. Clockwise on the cap the order is 18436572 The cylinders are (front to back) 1357 on the drivers side and 2468 on the passenger side. If you have not turned the distributor, the engine timing should be good. If not, turn the distributor counter clockwise to advance. Use a timing light to get it perfect.

Make sure that the USB port that you are plugging the phone to is working properly. You can try by connecting a USB flash disk. If the port is functioning properly it should show you a balloon after you connect your phone to the pc. If this does not work please let me know the model of the phone so that I can give some more steps

I have a camera...

So first you connect the cord to the camera then to the computer tower.
Then you Take out the disk.DO NOT LEAVE IT IN!!!!!!!
wait for it to load then when it does you'll have to click next,next,then finish.
In a few days go to the file you loaded them on.
then insert the disk and click burn pictures



I would ask someone like a specialist to see these directions before you proceed

if you are using the USB cable, that won't work. You must use the bracket plug. the USB cable will charge the unit and you can't use it while it's charging. If using the USB, the system thinks you are either charging the unit or connected to a computer. This is a design flaw.
