Lenovo Ideapad z570 won't turn on Day before yesterday it was working fine. Then I tried turning it on yesterday. It started, then gave me the BSOD and turned itself off. I've got it to turn back on a couple of times, but it turns itself back off within minutes, and now won't start at all. I've tried the taking the battery out and unplugging it, then holding down the start button for a full minute. I've tried the same, but trying to turn it on without power 30 times. I've tried fn/f8. Nothing is working .Please help!
Did you note bsod code?
try spinrite or hdd regenerator and scan your hdd for bad sectors?
wait what did you say it cannot start at all then it should be taken to technician ...
Go on ebay & shop for a new PowerPak. That is your first step. If the battery is completely down from not charging is the exact symptoms you described.

This could be a multitude of things, but the first thing that comes to mind is an overheating problem.
To rule out other things, remove and reseat the RAM, HDD, CD/HDD drive, Battery, Wi-Fi/BlueTooth mini adapters, etc.
Also, for further clarification, is there any error indicated on the screen prior to the machine turning off?
Thanks,
Rob

Sounds like something to do with a power saving feature either from HP itself or from Windows. It could also be that for some reason your computer is overheating, which it than shuts itself off to protect the processor. I would try playing with your power saving features, and cleaning out the fans.

To take out of hibernation, press the power button for less than 1 second.
Then go into the control panel and disable hibernation as described below.
Disable the your mouse's "ability to wake up computer" in device manager.
Use keyboard to wake up your computer.
Click Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Power Options > Hibernate tab.
Then clear the Enable Hibernation check box.
If this doesn't resolve the issue,Please post back.
Please rate this a fixya.

Try taking out battery and plug in power. If it works, battery is faulty. If not,
Try taking out your hard disk plug in power, if it works, hard disk is faulty. If not,
Try taking out memory card, if there's a sound, memory card faulty. If no sound, it's your motherboard that is causing the error.
Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.
Green means you have a full battery charge.
So probably it seems your battery is out of juice. Keep it on charges & it should be fine.
If there is nothing changed, you may need to exchange the laptop charger.
